I love adding chia seeds to my smoothie before i have to go somewhere i cant eat for a few hours... like night shift at work where i cant eat for 4-5hours and have to be around pizzas cooking all night : )
I just added 5gr of chia seeds in water so it wouldnt dehydrate me ... left it in for like 5 minutes while i prepared everything else for my smoothie. And 5 grams was plenty enough for 4 bananas and 8 dates smoothie (4 if you have medjools) .. i also soaked goji berries and added and also pomagranet powder (freeze dried pomagranets) it tasted soo amazing ! :D
And i havent been hungry since... it was around lunch time i think. So now im just drinking like a liter of pineapple OJ and then im off to work :D

I believe some people get a bit bloated/gassy when adding overts to smoothies. I like things simple, it just doesn't seem right to me, but hey if it tastes good to you then crack on. Do you put nuts or avocados in smoothies? :S
Oh and what's up with the pome powder dont ya like the real thing girl? ;)
