A debate began a few months ago between my girlfriend and I.
At some point we understood completely the relation between fat and candida. But now she comes up with this article which intrigues me and therefore I share it with you guys.
Always learning. Always sharing.
Good point, Adriana.
In addition, this article is specifically focusing on candida albicans GI colonization and the anti-microbial properties of coconut oil.
Bart, I've heard most/many natural substances have been shown to leave most 'good' bacteria intact while destroying the harmful organisms, no sources for you right now. Perhaps it comes down to the type of microbe and mechanism of the anti-microbial.
coconut oil doesn't just kill one microbe. It has general anti-microbial properties. So in addition to killing one unwanted fungus, what do you think it does to your healthy gut flora?
