Does anyone living in the Chicago area know of or buy from wholesale distributors that sell organic produce and are open to the public?
I have family and friends in the area and they are shifting to mostly raw because of continued health issues and the cost of buying at retail is hard for them. We're grateful to have an awesome resource here in Phoenix, but hard to find a place in Chicago just searching the web.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

Hey my friend, how's things? :)
Thanks a bunch for the links, found lots of places to contact and will see if they're a good fit. Look forward to connecting with other members in the area as well.
Been to Kodiak lately? Really enjoying the selection (and prices!), going down at least once a week.
Not as frequently as you, but sometimes.
The prices are always great, but I've become a bit more cautious after purchasing some inedibles.
If you find something primo in your future hunts, feel free to drop a note in Viva Group :)
This might help too:
After going for wholesale I think it's totally worth it, but you are going to get wholesale or less prices at Stanley's. I'll continue to go (I got my own access card to get in!) for certain things. In a few weeks I'm going to try the actual fruit warehouses and see how that goes
Where you only able to get into Jetro because your friends runs a small business and I assume has a tax ID?? What are their hours??
My experience with Stanley's is that most of the produce there is way past it's prime. I bought some clementines there the other day because they tasted great in the store, but half of them where mostly rotted by the second . Stanley's has great deals if everything you are buying you are going to eat THAT day.
