30 Bananas a Day!

There is a great on-going thread titled 'what happens to excess calories' that is getting some wonderful responses.

I have a question somewhat along the same lines but yet different.  What happens to calories that are already stored as FAT?  How does the body burn off fat stores when eating unlimited carbs such that you're never prompting your body to reach for the fat to burn as fuel? ... because it has unlimited carbs.

Obviously, starvation is never an answer.  That's clear.  But, I'm curious as to the science behind how the body burns up fat (if overweight) when the body has unlimited carbs (fuel) at its disposal?

Thanks for your shared wisdom and insight.

I feel you have to burn it off through exercise..if it's stored ..you need to use this energy through activity..I posted a topic about Carb cycling a bit ago also explaining how the body is habitual and adjust according to ones habits and/or routines..check it out if you can..I do not feel one can burn calories simply by doing nothing..we have to use this energy up some how..haha I know this is not scientific..its just my simple common sense haha..but I too would love to know the answer to this question on a scientific note :)

Anyone?   Appreciate any insight.

I have understand the science behind this, that the stored fat contains a lot beside fat, the fat in your body may contains toxins that is bad for your body, you also can look fat because of the salt (NaCl) that will also store water and will look just like fat under your skin, when you eat unlimited clean carbs from fruits, when you get enough sleep and when you drink enough water, your body will have the time and energy to burn the fat out of your body. I don't believe that is necessary to exercise if you wanna burn fat, but it will take a longer time to burn the fat vs. if you exercise, not that exercising is bad, It is absolutely gold in fat burning, but on a natural healthy diet, in order to burn the fat (and the toxic in stored in the fat) you can just sit on the sofa and eat fruit and do nothing. But If you wanna burn fat faster and get athletic you can choose to exercise. Remeber no salt.

+1 :D

In my experience I think once the body is fuel correctly eliminates all the toxic that we have eaten before including fat reserves, we dont have to Burn it, the body getting the right fuel will get rid of the toxic fuel via all our eliminatory pathways, sweat, pooing, those detox breakouts we get etc, yes exercise will give you more sweat and that way you will eliminate more but does not mean fat is being used as fuel. IMHO. I know there is nothing scientific but thats what I believe.
