There is a great on-going thread titled 'what happens to excess calories' that is getting some wonderful responses.
I have a question somewhat along the same lines but yet different. What happens to calories that are already stored as FAT? How does the body burn off fat stores when eating unlimited carbs such that you're never prompting your body to reach for the fat to burn as fuel? ... because it has unlimited carbs.
Obviously, starvation is never an answer. That's clear. But, I'm curious as to the science behind how the body burns up fat (if overweight) when the body has unlimited carbs (fuel) at its disposal?
Thanks for your shared wisdom and insight.

Permalink Reply by Litchi on May 29, 2012 at 2:17am I have understand the science behind this, that the stored fat contains a lot beside fat, the fat in your body may contains toxins that is bad for your body, you also can look fat because of the salt (NaCl) that will also store water and will look just like fat under your skin, when you eat unlimited clean carbs from fruits, when you get enough sleep and when you drink enough water, your body will have the time and energy to burn the fat out of your body. I don't believe that is necessary to exercise if you wanna burn fat, but it will take a longer time to burn the fat vs. if you exercise, not that exercising is bad, It is absolutely gold in fat burning, but on a natural healthy diet, in order to burn the fat (and the toxic in stored in the fat) you can just sit on the sofa and eat fruit and do nothing. But If you wanna burn fat faster and get athletic you can choose to exercise. Remeber no salt.

IMHO. I know there is nothing scientific but thats what I believe.
