Juice just as long as no animal products in it.
I would have went with both!
I would've gone with the rice, especially if it was organic. Natural flavors is MSG and flash pasteurization is essentially microwaving it for a second. I think the reason to not choose brown rice is that it's not raw but pasteurized juice isn't either.
Yes there could be some stuff in the juice and yes they're "cooked" and so is the rice...but the rice is a grain and we are not grainivores. So i'd take the juice over the rice...easier to digest and quicker carbs into the bloodstream.
lol I like that Georgia 'we are not grainivores'.
Definitely go the juice KGG
Thanks for asking this, KGG -- it'll be helpful to see what people say.
Juice!! they add oil to steamed brown rice every where I have cooked, you would never know.I don't even know why they do it, it prevents the full cooking of whatever kernels the oil touches.
Wow! I thought it would have to be labeled as fried if they added oil. How much is in there? I usually just get a box of steamed brown rice for the local chinese restaurant that is near my work.
They sell packages of frozen, organic brown rice in some stores. The listed ingredient is only this: organic brown rice.
You can microwave in a pinch. But, I think it also has directions for other ways to prepare.
Yeah if you're getting the rice from a Chinese restaurant I'd definitely choose the juice. Restaurants add at least oil and salt to their rice.
like 2 tsp per serving. asian places might be smarter, so they might not add oil.they don't add it to sushi rice so your safe there!
Do the experiment KGG. What food choice lets you reach your goals easier?
