30 Bananas a Day!

So I've been reading quite a lot of books on nutrition, including fit for life, 80/10/10 diet and The China Study and think I've got the nutrition thing figured out ;)

What I've come to realise is that I am completely ignorant when it comes to sports. I do yoga and go jogging sometimes, but really, I don't know a thing when it comes to working out. I'd really like to buy a couple of books on sports. How it works, what you should be doing, what is healthiest, how much cardio/strength training. Kind of like the nutrition books I've been reading, just in sports version:)

Any book recommendations?

Born To Run is a great read!  I never appreciated running until I read it, and I learned about foot health and barefoot running and lots of other stuff too! :)

Nice! I've been enjoying runnung a lot the past couple of weeks, so I think that should be really interesting:)
But I was also looking for a book about how to optimally plan an excercise schedule; how much cardio vs. how much strength. Also coming from a more scientific and natural perspective, like the 80/10/10 diet. I've been to the library but most books you find there will be like : "Why you should do HIIT", "lose weight fast" "why you should start yoga" "the ultimate bikini body program", I feel like everyone is just trying to sell their programms. But I want to actually LEARN something about sports. I think that's why I've never really gotten into it. One person says this, the other says, no, do that, and I get so confused, I just give it up all together. I've been to a personal trainer but he's also very onesided, only into building muscle and lifting weights.

Some good book recommendations and writing here on body building.
