Hi,
I'm new to the forums and the lifestyle, loving it!
After seeing durianriders great results I wanted to get my blood tested to see how I'm going.
Main question, what kind of blood test do I need to ask for? Is it a referral or can a normal GP do it?
Thanks

If you tell him you're a vegetarian (or vegan if you dare) he will insist you have all these straight off the mark. It's quite hilarious really. Results take one week.

sounds like you've had it done, how did you go?
Permalink Reply by Leeeeeeena on March 21, 2012 at 3:00pm Yes, I've been getting them every 6 months for 11 years. I wanna make a clip on it soon enough. Coz it goes from when I was a meat eater, to when I turned vegetarian, to high fat raw vegan, to vegan and now to this, high carb vegan. The results came out great. I wanna wait out and get a couple more done before making the clip coz I haven't been on this lifestyle for long at all. I only just posted up a discussion about my triglycerides. They've spiked and I don;t know why.

any idea how long it takes for diet change to show up in blood.. I've been doing it for 3 months only..
Permalink Reply by Leeeeeeena on March 21, 2012 at 4:06pm Yep, I will. I took my blood test exactly three months after going HCV and results were SOOOOO significant. I couldn't believe it.
