30 Bananas a Day!

Hi fellow 30BAD lovers. I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice or help. I'm about a month into the 811 diet and I am having such a hard time with bloating and getting enough carbs & calories. Most days I can get only about 800 - 1000 calories. After eating say half of a 1000 calorie meal, my stomach gets all bloated and I can't eat anymore. Also, I'm having a hard time getting enough fats & proteins too, most days I'm 90-5-5; I use the cronometer. Anyway, I've looked through the site and can't find anything about this problem, so if anyone has any advice at all, I'd be really appreciative. Thanks!

Hey! You may want to check out proper fruit combining because that can be the root of your bloating. Certain fruits when combined improperly in the stomach will cause you to bloat and look 8-9 mo preggers, its happened to me plenty in the beginning of my 811 journey lol. Simply google fruit combining chart and itll clear things up for you. Always remember to eat your melons alone and never combine them with any other fruit. They are the quickest digesting and leave the stomach after about 15-20 min, if you have them after a longer digesting fruit, they may ferment in the gut waiting in line to be digested. Also, you may want to invest in a nice blender, great for smoothies and soups, sauces etc. Instead of eating 10 apples, make apple sauce, itll be easier on digestion and easier to take down. Also, make sure bananas and dates are a staple in your diet. There is a huge difference in drinking a 10 banana smoothie (1000 cal) or making banana icecream (yum) rather than feeling like you are just shoving banana after banana in your mouth, which at times i do as well but not when im going out and dont want to bloat. Also, possibly graze, have 2 bananas one hour, 2-3 the next, 2-3 the next and so on and your stomach wont feel the need to expand so much. Hope this helped some what! :-)

I guess eating slow will help with the bloating. As for the percentages, why don't you try adding some lettuce to your diet and see how that works out for ya.
