I would have chosen another option if I had more knowledge and experience with alternative routes to antibiotics but the point is, Im mid way through a five day course of antibiotics and was wondering what to do to best help myself back to health once its finished. Any ideas? Thank you!

Although it worked for me when I did a round of raw garlic (yuck!) as an antibiotic, I must add that 30BaD doesn't advocate use of supplements like BioK.
Good luck to ya!
This is not sanctioned by 30BAD, however, I am eating saurkraut, kim chee, pickles, and my own fermented veggies (I just put them in a jar of lightly-salted, filtered water for 5-10 days and watch for bubbles, which mean the bacteria are working). I also use natto, miso and fermented soy beans as ingredients of my salad dressings. If I drop a piece of fruit on the floor, I pick it up and eat it. I don't wipe doorknobs and I don't wipe the Nautilus equipment at the Y before I use it. I don't live in an aseptic environment. And I don't drink tap water, because it contains flourine and chlorine and other possible antibacterial agents. I drink filtered water out of one of those machines at Fred Meyer. There must be a hundred ways to eat germs and bacteria! I sometimes don't wash bok choy before I eat it...I eat the dirt that collects at the base of each stalk. I don't wash my hands 20 times a day.
