Yes, I was told that a lot at the beginning, that this was just another step down with my eating disorder. Much of my family has cut me off because they do not want to deal with someone with such a disorder, little do they realize that this is the only way out for many and I have never been happier and more stable in all my short life.
You will be living proof very soon, these past two years felt like a single blink. I thought it would take forever, but in reality it only took two years to pass LOL!

Permalink Reply by Alethea Likesitfruity on April 14, 2012 at 2:03pm I have been LFRV for almost 11 months now. I am currently 3 1/2 months pregnant and although I am not 100% 811 100% of the time I am proud of how well I am sticking to the lifestyle considering how I ate during my last pregnancy. When I started eating LFRV I also started cycling. I am riding between 4kms and 12kms a week at the moment and do some walking and dancing also. This is not a huge amount but a big difference to my previous very sedentary pregnancy/lifestyle.

Congrats on having done 11mths LFRV.......that's a seriously impressive, powerful + empowering commitment! And you look like an 'athlete' now!
Keep it up!
P.S. As a little aside, I would love to know if anyone has a 'guesstimate' for the total number of people in the World currently who are 100% LFRV and who have been for a minimum of 1 year or more...........?
1'000 perhaps.........?

Permalink Reply by Richie Fruitbat on May 11, 2012 at 2:19am I've been HCRV for about 13 months now, and I just found an old picture of myself that shocked me.
It shows just how thin I was due to my Celiac Disease. I looked like an anorexic, although I was actually eating twice as much as most of the people around me, and was still always hungry.
I wont go on about all the changes for the better I have experienced in almost every area of my life, just look at my before and after piccy ;-D
I no longer resemble a walking skeleton, I've got the energy and stamina to run 10k whenever I want to, I've recently started a bodyweight training program and I'm seeing muscle gains already. My watch no longer fits on my wrist and I'm outgrowing all my old skinny clothes. 80/10/10 rocks!
