Thank you Gosi for the lovely pictures.  You certainly do look healthier and happier.  Congrats!

Thanks! Hi Via! Long time no see. :)

Internet has been iffy for a while, plus I've been traveling and moving around sooo much.  I go through spurts of trying to catch up on my net time, but I don't miss it too much cos it's so addictive.  Much more to life...

WOW.

You are stunning!

She is even more beauty-full in real life!

+1

Wow, you´re so beautifull

Verry inspirational

Very nice, thanks for sharing! :)

It's interesting to observe that even good looking people get helped with the fruit diet. They get stunning!

we probably must have met then at Woodstock, but I can't really remember you!

I can't see the photos. Where do I click or look?

I have not been able to do my body shots yet, but I finally found a before pic of my face that best shows the changes. I'm hopping all over the place at the moment so once I settle and the buzzing of things needing to be done leaves my head I'll go out in the forest and take full body shots!

First photo is at the end of April 2011, about 15 months HCRV at that point. As many of you know I came to raw veganism directly from severe bulimia and periods of anorexia. Because of this I ballooned from a severely dehydrated 128lbs to a very healthy and carbed up 185lbs. I am 5 feet 7 inches for anyone interested.

Second photo is from early January of 2012, just a few weeks ago, one I took for Alison Andrews new ebook. I have now been HCRV for just over 2 years now (with some slips during last year which i take full responsibility for and were due solely to being under carbed but still trying to maintain my level of fitness). I lost ten pounds while in australia doing my cycling tour and eating about 5-6 thousand fruit calories a day, sometimes more! Then in Nepal I lost an additional 15lbs eating minimum 4 thousand fruit calories a day. Now back in Canada I have lost another five and every week my clothes are getting looser. I have not decreased my intake at all, if anything I have increased.

Even I had doubts about this way of life though my real life friends would not have always noticed. In my heart I knew it was right even if my initial results were the extreme opposite of all the people going raw around me, especially if they had been raw for shorter time periods than I. But the waiting has paid off and now I know that I needed to go through this so that those coming after me would see that it WILL happen, it might just take two frustrating years lol .

Before raw my only fitness adventures involved shorts hikes on flat ground, walking to school, or the occasional one hour bike ride that would leave me wiped for a week.

Since going raw I have done the following:
Found and photographed 134 waterfalls in one summer all on my bike
Biked 120km solo on Christmas day
Cycled 5 hours a day for a 4 hour shift 6 days a week for 3 months
Bought all my groceries and errands with my bike trailer for two years
Cycled with a 40lb trailer and camped out for over 2000 km up the coast of Queensland just for fun
Did 4months of hard farm labour and loved every minute
Trekked for hours and hours for 3 months up stone stairs to see the many stupas of hillside Nepal
Broke the mental barrier of embarrassment and danced for the only the second time of my life....and am now making it a daily event!
Waking up every day with the thought "how am I going to move my body today" with a smile on my face.

I love raw, so so much . Without it I would not have found love for myself, the courage to be involved in the world, my ever loving high raw vegan hubby, and just do the things I always thought only well off and mystical people seem grasp so easily.

For those unfamiliar with my history here are the summaries. I hope they help you as much they have me.
