30 Bananas a Day!

Hi everyone!

I've been LFRV for about 6 weeks now. Lately I've been seeing a lot of talk on the site about b12 deficiency, so I made an appointment to get my levels tested, to see if I need to start supplementing.

My question is what exactly should I be testing for to get an accurate measure? I know there are different types such as serum, MMA etc. & I was wondering if anyone has any experience/knowledge in this area & can help me out.

The general consensus is get B12, Folate, uMMA and Homocysteine.   B12 and Folate are often paired together in a test, and Homocysteine is often in a panel of tests, like heart function.  Urine MMA is usually a separate test.
