30 Bananas a Day!

http://www.atkinsdietalert.org/

Dr Atkins himself died at a weight of 258lbs. Thats morbidly obese for someone his height. He suffered a heart attack, fell over and died. So he died obese and from the very cause his fad diet was meant to prevent.

Still to this day, poor suckers buy into the high fat carb phobic mindset and they hand over their wealth and sacrifice their health.

It worked for Ozzy ;) LMAO
the last comment on the link is significant:
"I just can't digest meat any more."

it's not that anyone really can since the physical mechanisms just aren't there to do it right ... eventually it's going to catch up to you and it makes little difference what you think humans ate when they were orangutans. :D

Hi Grok,
I think you make a lot of good points about making correct comparisons, but that leads me to one question I want to ask you: Are you then saying, that Dr. Atkins didn't follow the Atkins diet properly? Or not follow the correct protocol and that's why he dropped dead of a heart attack?
Thanks,
Sultana
:D :D :D

DR, Thanks for this informative link.
Here is my bad Atkins story:
When I was young, I was slim, and did not pay attention to nutrition eating a SAD diet. Twinkies for Breakfast? That was me, but not good, had appendicitis and surgery at the ripe age of 21.
Then after baby #2, I could not loose weight. I tried calorie restriction, but was still eating SAD, and could not loose weight. Then I learned bout Atkins.
I did the Atkins thing about 10 years and ended with some bad results. In the beginning, Atkins sounds logical. The diet tells you to give up milk, bread and grains, sugar, and processed foods and chemicals. So it is not all bad. It does promote eating vegggies.
At first I had great success and lost about 25 lb. But, I was tired all the time, dizzy, and had chronic fevers and unstable body temperature. My cholesterol was always borderline like 200-210. Then I had kidney stones and surgery.
Recently, my blood pressure went borderling, 135/85. My blood sugar was boderline 99 on a blood test.
Then last year I suffered almost one year with bladder infections and a urine test showed acid urine. I had painful ovarian cysts, had surgery, and have an atrophied ovary. Probably thanks to hormone in the meat and acid in my body.
I am only 35, but have had the health problems and surgeries of a 60 year old living in the USA.

In my Percocent induced drug high, I got fed up with my sicknesses and went online and researched health, nutrition, and differrent ways of life. At first I found Natural Hygiene, and it seemed so logical. I was reading all I could, and started implementing some of the principles like eating only 2-3 times a day, giving up meds, etc.
Then one day I did a politically incorrect thing here in the USA, I plugged in Fruitarianism, and that led me to the study of raw foods, and then finding this website. Since last November, and I have been trolling around here again and again. Then a few months ago I started my transition. My BP is normal, and I have not been sick excpet for a recent migraine. I hope in a few more months to be 100% lfrv.
Thanks for the dedication you and Freelee have in not only living this lifestyle, but not running to the hills and ignoring society. Thanks for you time in sharing your experiences with the rest of us, and you have probably already saved lives, and made the quality of life for many better.
In peace PK
Good to hear PK.

A low fat high carb cooked vegan diet is great for most but those that want more, they gotta eat it raw.
Great link!
I posted it too.
I know people who still do it. I know of a gym that recommends a diet that looks a lot like it , I tried to warn them ( I know the owners) after a member told me about how she misses eating fruit (!!!) but they told me they are not interested . ( in what I had to say )
Maybe when they have colon cancer/heart disease etc they might be interested.
Yes , I know people like that too.
