I love the sweet and juicy taste of pine apple. But every time I eat it it feels like my tongue got burned. It's all numb and everything I eat afterwards loses its taste, somehow..
Does anyone know of a simple solution to this problem?
Permalink Reply by ednshell on May 22, 2012 at 6:19am Darn indeed! It took me a couple of years to accept this sad fact. I guess it's nature's way to clue us in that we are supposed to be living in the tropics. ;)

Permalink Reply by Morgan on May 22, 2012 at 6:51am Yup, I burned my lips and tongue pretty bad by slugging a pineapple smoothie a couple times. Pineapples need to be orangey, not just green and yellow..
I haven't had a prob since then and I've just cut down by putting maybe 1/2 a pineapple in my smoothie, just to be safe, but no probs..
