Any goths/punks/freaks out there? Apart from being a banana freak of course!:)

Just wondering if anyone else is from the scene. Did you find yourself listening to ''happy'' music once you started changing your eating habits? :P Also like to know if anyone is attending the Kinetik Fest in montreal. Please feel free to message me :)

Aha, excellent taste! :) I had only heard of them in passing a few years ago, I had not actually heard their music. They played at Download in the UK so I thought I'd check them out; this was my face the whole time-> :O

Possibly the most powerful band I have ever heard live. The things Kyo can do with his voice are unreal.

I have to tell you - when I read your comment earlier, I was drinking a pineapple-orange-spinach smoothie that was so thick the froth on top had gone kinda stiff. I read your comment then looked at my neon green drink: yup, it's got punk fruit crust on it. It was a beautiful moment :3

I listen to the same music as a general rule, but sometimes I find myself skipping songs because they are suddenly "too heavy."

I love indie music but lately I like to listen to more energetic stuff which makes you want to run :D Anybody has any good exercise music suggestions? I like electronic stuff but also some Metal (really depends..)

Previous running playlist was Tool and Fair to Midland, current playlist is some oldschool KoRN,; KoRN collaborating with a bunch of different Dubstep artists; Borgore (nasty, dirty dubstep), and randomly there's a little bit of Timbaland on there too, lol. Whatever works! ;)

lol definitely! all of my clothing was black or brown, then suddenly i started buying things with flowers... but i'm having trouble letting go of my extensive collection of boots and jewelry made from leather. Also i went through a couple months where i could not listen to metal music cuz i would get completely spacey and creepy, but that went away after a while.

Hey friends! I have also have roots in punk and metal. I still listen to my old favorite bands once and a while, but yes! since I generally listen to more "feel good" music these days, but listening to the punk/metal still makes me feel good when I want to hear it ;) although I don't listen to a specific style anymore, I like what I like :)

I'm a rather large black metal fan. I enjoy the old school bands the most though. Bathory, Hellhammer, Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, Gehenna, Immortal, Ulver, Enslaved, Dissection, Gorgoroth, Dark Funeral. I don't care much for the newer bands that are being passed off as "black metal" these days.

I've been listening to a lot of obscure 'dark ambient/noise' artists as of late. I find it easier to meditate and keep my disassociative personality in balance.
