Yep, water fasting can do wonders, I might try 1-3 days for an infection like that, no more without supervision. Swimming in the salty ocean helps all kinds of skin problems. I have also tried hot and cold treatments with great success. Putting foot in ice cold water for a few seconds then hot water for a few seconds, do this 10 times in a row and repeat as desired, I have always seen immediate improvement. Placing a damp tea bag of peppermint or just about any tea might help.
