@ Saba the president of the U.S will affect everyone in the world because we are head into WWIII if we don't elect the right person, obviously not much you can do about it but if you have friends in the U.S help spread the word! :)
I wanna move to Australia and live on Noha's land! lol
Thanks for posting all you pics and video's. I've never been to Australia so it's all interesting to me.
:) Put our energy into what's real, what's love, into safe and harmonious sanctuary I say.. See you soon then Satchfan!
I like this plan :)
This. The problem is that it's a failed system.
People always want to just blame the party that doesn't share their own views, and somehow think that will fix everything. The thing is we are not all the same, we all have different backgrounds, experiences, view points and beliefs. And as such what I see as best for me you may not see the same as best for you. This is how some end up in the left and some end up in the right. But none are right for all! Only for their own beliefs. This is why this system is such a huge mess, even the smallest tasks can't be solved because nobody can agree on anything.
It's not that the liberals are destroying the country and it's not that the conservatives are destroying the country either, it's the fact we are governed in a way which allows whoever is in charge to enforce things in the favor of their beliefs. A successful government will only be achieved when politics are removed from it and government only governs things in which all can agree.
Unfortunately I think we're pretty far from evolving into this, but maybe the next system will get us closer.
I think the problem you have described becomes much worse when one party or the other starts to think in terms of no compromise. Everything comes to a complete stop and nothing gets resolved. I would like to see more issues put on the ballot and resolved quickly by the voting citizens.
I hope we both agree that we could each spend our money much more productively than politicians ever can. The answer is no government, or at least significantly less government and a purely free market system where transactions are voluntary. And you're right, we are a faaaaaaaaar ways from it.
Exactly, why support war criminals, or choose one bad egg from another?
Occupy Area 51! Here's a great interview I heard today, it's very revealing and basically throws any need to vote, or spend any time/energy on government as we know it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k7J0RWLFGo&feature=uploademail. It's long but sweet, basically gets back to Love or Fear as usual.
Thanks for posting Kristin, thanks for raising awareness, it's a video everyone should take the time to see, really nicely done!
I mean who knew it was now illegal to use rain water, makes sense though, those down stream won't get any if someone else takes it, (the legal doublespeak is as brilliant as it is evil). All the water in the world must be managed by our all knowing world government, they have managed everything else so well. Seriously though, people are fools if they think these crazy food laws will never be enforced. That is just what the majority of Germans thought about the crazy laws Hitler passed, Hitler never actually did anything illegal!
The Healthy Food Disorder, that's a good one too.
As Ralph Nader said, the U.S. citizen right now has the most power than anyone in the world to stop this kind of criminal activity and takeover of the world. If the U.S. constitution falls, the effects will be world wide.
As to voting to effect change, I posted this on another thread not long ago:
The elections are fixed with the computerized voting machines. 2000 was the last year we had a chance to make some of our votes count. I would support Kucinich just to hear him speak truth to power and over the air waves to the people in the debates. However he will not run against Obama, therefore I would support Ron Paul for the same reasons although he doesn't come close to the level of truth telling as Kucinich does imo. I may end up supporting a Green Party candidate as well.
The key to changing things in the U.S. government is not voting but a people's movement. We cannot count on a leader because "they" have and will kill leaders. There are a few that slide by because of their connections like Ralph Nader and not making quite enough trouble like Kucinich, although he did have a hit out on him at one point. JFK junior was going to run for the senate and then president but he was murdered so that he could not, he would have been way too influential.
Ralph Nader just came out with a book about how to do this for real. The things he has done for the U.S. people are just astounding! He absolutely knows what he is talking about.
