One of our quite promenant members has announced via youtube that she has gone back to lean protein and whole grains, after being a great example of 811 for about a year........she said it was what her body was tellling her, but said the main reasons were private & that's all she's saying! I was v.dissapointed to hear this, as she appeared to be thriving on 811 - mentally and physically and now we have no real reasons as to what happened.
I don't want to name any names as she doesn't appear to have announced anything on this site yet and still has her page active here - sorry if it's you and your reading this! Looking back at her videos over the last few months, she had upped her exercise considerably, in conjunction to running a v.busy business -my hunch is she did too much and mybe didnt eat/rest enough and now her body is gravitating to the these claorie dense foods.
What does everyone else think/know?

yeah I guess the moral of the story is, if you want to get your health information from naive, enthusiastic teens and 20-somethings on youtube with less than a year of experience....... well, that's certainly your "choice!"
So you don't care if people eat meat then??
When someone touts this lifestyle as being amazing, then seemingly overnight they change their diet back to a SAD diet... and they don't offer an explanation or reason other than 'it's personal'... you're going to raise a few eyebrows and a few people who would like an explanation ...
when you put your life out there and publicize everything that you do... then you have to be ready to share information about it...
she didn't ask for any advice, not on here at least and definitely did not contact Freelea or Durianrider...
if you believe whole heartedly in this lifestyle and are having troubles with this lifestyle then ask the people who are thriving on it...
To be honest though, I am kind of curious as to what happened. If she explains anything, it should at least be why so we can understand and know what to avoid or something... idk. Maybe there is no real reason and she just wanted to eat meat again.. who knows.
We can't hate somone because they made a mistake... none of us know whats going on in her personal life, maybe everyones bullying her out of jealousy and trying to manipulate her into eating more sad... maybe she lost a loved one and is feeling too low to eat raw, who knows really? we shouldn't hate on somone... she probably left behind a lot of useful information and helped a lot of people on her 811 journey, and who knows she may go back to it again... but at the same time, we all know this is a meat-eating dominated planet and the fact that she even made that change says a huge thing about her character.... instead of condemining her for "falling off the wagon" why dont we hold kind thoughts for her effort in the past and hold hope that she finds her way to the most natural, healthiest lifestyle for her :)
I don't think anyone is hating here! The problem is that she has gone back eating animals - and that is something about ethics - who cares if she had started eating cooked vegan? - the point here is, that animals suffer and it's disappointing when a former vegan chooses to eat animals again - I think it's allowed for me and others to feel this way :) its not her as a person, but her choice that is upsetting :)
That is understandable. I just do not feel the need that people should be upset with her. However, I do aggree with you and thank you for differenciating being upset with the person and upset with the decision. In that case, the decision is rather upsetting.
