I got the information from a poster here- they are ten pounds of medjool dates for $44, which includes shipping. All the reviews about this seller are positive, but is this too good to be true? I really, really want ten pounds of dates, with all my heart, but am afraid my emotions are blocking out my reasoning. But they come from California- maybe I need to ask them about their rawness, maybe everyone who ordered from these folks didn't care about rawness, just dates. Hmmm, did I answer my own question? Any thoughts?
Well, I emailed the distributor and have yet to hear back from them. Someone recently remarked on this site that they paid $80 plus for the same amount, so $44, including shipping, would be awesome. Not organic, which is going to have to do for now. But 6 months into HCRV, I have accepted that I cannot be on this lifestyle without buying bulk or from a wholesaler, which we did do for a few months. My husband, who is sick right now, has fallen in love with green smoothies and so we got bananas and spinach bulk, through a restaurant-owning friend. I know I need dates. I have given up so much since starting this 'diet'. I found green smoothies absolutely necessary when I went raw three years ago. They made all the difference. So far, eating HCRV, I've given up olive oil, stupid raw candybars, Komucha teas, raw treats from Whole Foods all together and a few other things and honestly, it hasn't been that hard. I haven't had any cravings for those things- I tell myself that if I want a treat, that's what aaallllll that fruit is there for! Anyway, I am hoping to flourish even more than I have already, eating this way, which is why I am dying for my first box of dates. $44 for eleven pounds- I looked them up, they are Fernandez Dates and look reputable- I could really use some advice on where to research this on 30 BaD or the internet or if someone can let me know, maybe, the questions I should ask as I have never done this before. Thanks in advance!
I know that Megan Elizabeth suggests getting bulk stuff off of amazon, which is pretty similar to ebay right? And I would also like to know if ordering dates, etc, off ebay is okay because I am interested since the canadian amazon doesn't sell food
I would love to know if this works out. I would be interested in purchasing some in bulk too.
