I hadn't had my period for over 15 months due to hormonal imbalances and I'd never taken the pill so I became quite worried. I went to doctors and endocrinologists which got me nowhere. I've been vegan for roughly a month now on approximately 40% raw and 40% cooked veggies and my period just started. Coincidence...possibly not?
Has anyone else ever experienced something similar?
Thank you,
Lucia :)

I had my first experiment with raw foods, eating a good amount of fruit, but not LOW fat, and about 15% cooked. I got my period back after 2 weeks and have never missed since.
Similarly- Coincidence? Possibly not. :)

Except for a good reason this time. You would still be ovulating, and you would still have your period, except it would only be one or two drops and your uterine lining would be so non-toxic that your body would just reabsorb it, as happens to many mammals in the wild.
