I do have the 80/10/10 book and read it thoroughly. I just completed my first week of lfrv eating. Already I have dropped almost 10 excess pounds and I feel more...light?
I do have a few questions:
1. Did anyone start from a zero exercise position like myself?
I have a high stress sedentary desk-type job, which has left me with no time nor inclination to exercise in quite awhile. I'm hoping that I'll have motivation once I'm more in the swing with lfrv, because when I did exercise before it was very difficult to get my muscles moving, and I was always excruciatingly sore afterwards.
I tried a mono meal of mangoes the other day and I haven't wanted a mango since. Since I live in the north east in a rural area, we're fairly limited in the types (and quantities) of fruits and veggies that we can get here.
Do you find your cravings for variety go away?
3. Vitamin A
I'm using the Cron-o-meter to measure everything, and it shows that I've been off the charts every day with Vitamin A. Isn't that eventually dangerous? Am I eating too much of something that contains it?
Pardon me for the stupid questions...I've been reading the forum and learning a lot!
Hi! I'm starting from a zero exercise position and I found that even at 80% lfrv I have had way more energy than I know what to do with. I did jumping jacks randomly last night next to my bed when I was getting ready to go to sleep! I've been on lfrv since this past sunday. I started with one meal lfrv, and yesterday I increased to 80%, and I've had excess energy all week. I'd say if it hasn't come yet, it will.
As for variety, I have a feeling I have moreso than you do, but I have had apples all week and today my body decided it didn't want the skin any more, so that was fun. Every other fruit I've had has been different though. I'd say you can blend fruits together to make it easier until you have the variety.
I'd also like to know about the vitamin A.
