So I'm new, I'm about a couple weeks in and I've noticed my poo has dramatically changed. I have a long history with colon problems so I've been paying close attention to my poop for years. I don't like the way it's been looking lately and I'm wondering if there is something I'm doing wrong.
Short and Funny Video about Poo Scale and Meat Eaters vs Vegans
After watching this video, I can honestly say that I've consistently been a 6 since starting. Although the video refers to most vegans being the perfect 4 on the poo scale, they don't specify raw vegans. I'd love to know what raw vegans are on the poo scale. Are you all a 6 like me? Or are you all closer to 5 or even 4? I would like to troubleshoot why I'm a 6 if I'm not supposed to be, as 6 seems to be very undesired according to the poo scale.

If you had colon problems, provided you stick to 80/10/10 and proper food combining, it'll eventually fix itself. If it's not an ideal shape/size/consistency right now, there's not really anything you can do to fix it aside from sticking to 811RV + Natural Hygiene principles and having patience.
Also try squatting, this will help with elimination quite a bit

Who knows, maybe that alone will bring you down a couple points on the poo scale.
Permalink Reply by Tova Ramos on Wednesday I hear you sister! I am back on hcrv (I missed feeling amazing and healthy!), almost done with my first week and I'm back to the 6s, just like I was on hcrv before. It's really my only negative reaction to the diet. I've searched the interwebs for others with the same problem and saw one guy posting that he had been 811 for 3+ months and was still pooping at a 6. Unfortunately, no one really has an answer for us. They just say to stay on the diet and it will resolve itself over time. It has been some time since you posted this; have you had any improvement? I'm actually wonder sometimes if I might have a colon problem since on cooked foods I am chronically constipated and then raw is... Let me know your update.
Permalink Reply by Tova Ramos on Wednesday Update since yesterday: I saw improvement after only one day spent consciously adding more apples to my diet. Apples are very high in pectin, and my chef boyfriend suggested that their thickening effect might be helpful to my bathroom dilemma. I ate apples yesterday, about 3-4 large apples throughout the day either as a whole fruit or blended into a smoothie, and today I have improved from a 6 to a 5 and with reduced frequency (which was becoming disruptively frequent). Give it a try and let me know how you feel.
Permalink Reply by Peter Csere on Wednesday It can take some time to resolve. I've experienced the same issue. It eventually fixes itself, then if you fall off the wagon and jump back on, you can go through the same thing again. Also, fiber/water content of fruits can change things up. Your colon can get a little confused if you are going back and forth between dates/bananas and watermelons. Not that you shouldn't do that, just don't expect perfect poo if you do.
