----------------Day 22---------------
Got up at 4:45am to get to work at 6am today to work a farmer's market w/ juices and vegan food etc. My job at Kaia Yoga is going to "discuss future opportunities and vision" with me on monday, aka move me into being a manager of the Greenwich studio possibly. I've been led to believe it's an opportunity so I have to weigh the pros with the cons, etc. I need need sleep but I have so much to get done to cover my ass in life with moving, my car, moving paperwork, vision appts, my Tasting/business(www.solarpoweredhealth.com), cycling, work etc etc. Anyway, just have to get it done, focus on priorities. Keeping raw keeping vegan no matter WHAT, though it's not exactly a struggle anymore. I don't need falling-off-the-bandwagon stress anymore than I need a nail in my foot, and I desire neither.
BK: 12 dates
LN: 2 c blueberries, 1 corn ear, 12oz watermelon juiced with lemon
DR: 20oz grapes, 2lbs clementines, 1.5 c sugar snap peas
EXERCISE: packing and unpacking boxes of food and juice bins at the farmers market, standing for 8 hours or walking a half mile to the bathroom occasionally.
SLEEP: 5hrs, 45mins
WATER: 4 litres, still thirsty
FEELINGS: Doing this as a grateful list today.
1. Was inspired to record some videos for youtube (www.youtube.com/somethought) after being surprised to see rowers out on the water as a beautiful athletic and meditative exercise
2. Satisfied from a day of work, proud I got up and out on time, but I have a lot of paperwork for my car and details for my Tasting Party I really need to take care of, and time is running out. Tired; will go to bed once I've tackled some of my responsibilities. I see this posting as a responsibility, actually, to help keep me on track- as it's life or death for me to keep on track regardless of this post so I'm glad for the help it brings :)
3. On a lighter note I've been running a sleep deficit, glad I can sleep in tomorrow.

------------Day 23-----------
Hey a non-photoshopped pic of a woman! More specifically-me! And still pretty how about that lol right after my a.m. workout!
BK: 5 sm apples, smoothie (mint, 1c strawberries, 5 bananas, water)
LN: 1 sm apple, 6 dates
DR: 5 small cucumbers, 2 avocados , smoothie (5 bananas, mint, water, 1 c blueberries, 1 c mango)
EXERCISE: 3 pull ups! 23 burpees and a 4 mi morning jog in rain w/ 4x40 sec sprints (400 cals)
WATER: 4 litres
SLEEP: 7.5 hrs
FEELINGS: eating dates straight makes my teeth hurt. Also- I let myself get too hungry and had 2 avo's as part of dinner. Feel weird about that, don't want that to happen often. I'm not even one of these avocado loving people, some people crave fat or salt...I don't. It was just there so I had it. Stressed about moving into the Bronx and the uncertainty of it, whether I'm going to stay at my job, not having money, my Tasting party (though I'm excited for that). Grateful in general but a whole lot to fix and to do before the end of this month.

------------Day 24-----------
The pic is a smoothie and a juice made at work. I often marvel at the obvious and intrinsic visual appeal of natural foods. How we were ever led to believe we should have anything but fruits and veggies is beyond me. Well actually its not, desperation and then taught patterns led us astray. I'm glad in this day and age we can choose a better way.
BK: smoothie (1 c blueberries, 5 bananas, water, mint)
SN: smoothie (3 c orange juice, 1 c mango, 1 c blueberries)
LN: smoothie (6 bananas, 1 c strawberries, 1/2 c blueberries, water), 2 apples, 12 dates
DR:4 corn ears, 2 c spinach, 3 lemons, later on my BF made guacamole from avocados so I had some, using spinach as taco shells. DELISH.
EXERCISE: Moving my heavy dresser to new place, then got on the bike with 3 sprints but nothing too strenuous (5mi)
SLEEP: 6 hours
WATER: about 3 litres
FEELINGS: 1. Started moving my life over to the Bronx; cleaning out the shared room I'm moving into, listening to a couple vegan speakers including a Durianrider talk in Melbourne about positivity. Decided to bike before the day was done, and there was one point when I'd walked to the beach and was looking at NYC over the water and thought to myself "Yea, things are tough now, but I can do this" and- this is amazing- right when I thought "I can do this", fireworks exploded over the water in the distance right where I was looking, for only like 10 seconds. HOW COOL IS THAT? I was laughing at such a wild and serendipitous call I'm on the right path. 2.Tired due to lack of sleep, I was just like fat kid central today lol. Felt like I was chowing down all day.

------------------Day 25----------------
LN: smoothie (6 bananas, 10oz almond milk, 1 c blueberries), 1 green apple sliced and dipped into thick date sauce (blended dates)
DR: 1c cauliflower, 1 large cucumber with indian-curry sauce (1 medium carrot, 10 grape tomatoes, 1 small red bell pepper, 1 small shallot, 2 dates, 1 garlic clove, small handful cashews, curry powder, chili powder, cumin powder)
EXERCISE: 3 mile jog (285 cals)
WATER: 1.5 litres
SLEEP: not enough, 6 hours
FEELINGS: 1. I really have been wanting to expand on the dinner dishes I make, so I'm going to be making a different entree every night. That'll help expand the options for my Tasting parties as well. 2. I booked it: I have a party I'm catering in August for a woman in Greenwich who wants to throw a party for her daughter before she goes to college. It'll be in her sprawling backyard by her garden. How cool is that? 3.The lack of sleep is catching up with me, I took a much needed nap and went for a jog after. I have to go to bed early tonight.

------------------Day 26----------------
Jogged to miles to 75 min yoga class and jogged back 2 miles with Rachael again. I love that I can say that I did that, I love being fit enough to do that no problems. So worth it to get out there and be active in the world! I have to start recording more vids to put on my youtube of things just like this. My life is such an adventure.
BK: smoothie (1 c blueberries, mint, 5 bananas, 2 dates) 3 dates
LN: 1 green apple with date paste, 1/2 peach with 1 date, smoothie (5 bananas, 1 c bluberries, 1 c spinach, mint, water)
DR: spiralized zucchini with sliced tomato and raw vegan pad thai dressing
SN: 5 dates, 1 banana
(2364 cals)
EXERCISE: Jogged to miles to 75 min yoga class lol and jogged back 2 miles (667 cals)
SLEEP: 6 hours
WATER: 2 litres
FEELINGS: I didn't drink as much water as usual and felt it today- it was HOT. setting up the yoga mat I was slipping and sliding all over the place I was dripping sweat lol. So satisfying/ fun today, the running and the yoga and the friends and the raw food pad thai dish makin'. One grateful and happy chappy today.
Permalink Reply by Anastasia/Champagne Mango on July 26, 2012 at 2:03pm LN: 1 c tomato, 1 mushroom
SN: 7 dates
DR: Smoothie (5 bananas, 1 c strawberries, mint), spiralized zucchini with mushrooms, 2 c pineapple, and marinara over it (3 lemons, 3/4 c scallions, 1/2 large red bell pepper, 1/2 c pineapple, handful fresh basil, 1.5 cup tomatoes)
(2127 cals)
EXERCISE: 18.6 mi on bike, walked 2 miles for groceries and fun ( 957 cals)
WATER: 2 litres
SLEEP: 6 hours
FEELINGS: Life is so beautiful. I was listening to the Phantom of the Opera, original cast recording (the musical has actual talent) all day. So rich a sound, such a crafted and quality sound. I sang in a choir for years as a soprano, and traveled to England, Scotland, and Denmark. True musicality is very important to me, and I found this recording again after many years; I've been singing to it since I was 6. And you know what? It sounds better than EVER. That...is a true art. I hear a lot of cheap sensationalism in the music world today, but it's good to know some things will always sound good, and be appreciated for it's art. Here's the 25 anniversary vid-SKIP to 3:11 to get full effect:
When I have more money I want to take some time to continue making original music myself. I'm "Champagne Mango" on soundcloud.

I see my body and face thinning out. I could be imagining it but here's indications I'm not hallucinating: 1.Shorts that were uncomfortably tight a year ago or even a couple weeks ago now fit, and actually are a bit loose. 2. I've come to the point where I can have a whole watermelon at dinnertime and not look bloated. This is the kind of thing that bewildered me for 2 years, and I saw it at the Woodstock Fruit Festival last year. Now it's my life. I thank hydration, a raw vegan high carb low fat diet, fitness, the Universe Lady, enough sleep (normally), Durianrider and Freelee and other HCRV vids etc. Love iiiiiiit.
BK: smoothie (5 bananas, mint, 1 c strawberries, 2 dates, water) 1/2 green apple, 4 dates
LN: 4 cups watermelon, 1/2 med cucumber, 1 lime
SN: 4 dates, smoothie (2 c almond milk, 3 bananas, 1 c bluberries, 1 c strawberries)
DR: 1 medium watermelon, 3 dates, 3 banana, 1 small handful cashews
(2758 cals)
EXERCISE: 5 miles meandering on bike, some hills (218 cals)
WATER: 2.5 litres
SLEEP: 4 hours, then an hour nap after work
FEELINGS: Got out there on the bike at dusk. Really....beautiful. Dusk on the water; stunning. It's ALWAYS worth it to get out there and explore the world. Made some vids at the beach. At home started preparing some of sunday's Tasting Party desserts today. I'm excited!

---------------Day 29---------------
Tornado/ storm warnings at night, but the day was clear, so I enjoyed a rigorous 20 mi bike ride with my older brother Alex. I was impressed with him since he has an extra 50lbs on me, and rode a heavier roadbike. I love riding with people who make me push myself, and he invited me out on the road so we both got out of the house. It was great for both our state of minds, and it was great to hang out with him for a good part of the day.
BK: 4 c grapes, 2 bananas, 9 dates, 1 cucumber juiced
LN: 2 dates, smoothie (4 bananas, 1 date, mint, 1 c strawberries)
DR: 5 dates, 3 c grapes, 2 c spinach with dressing (4 tomatoes, 1/2 red bell pepper, basil, scallions, 1 orange, 2 lemons)
