Time to get your raw on folks! For the next 30 days, EACH DAY please come here and record what you eat, your exercise, water and sleep and encourage others to stay on track. This challenge is only for HIGH CARB raw vegans, 811-style. No superfoods or powders, salt thanks. Example is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtxFC4LHnKo

* You must be 100% raw and post here EVERY DAY for the next 30 days to receive the free ebook. You *must* use the same thread day after day so I can read your journal. Journals that are all over the place cannot be accepted.

DAY 1:

Bfast: 10 banana smoothie
Lunch: 1 head of iceberg lettuce with 20 dates
Dinner: 1/2 jakfruit (med) and a kg of snow peas
(good to include calories)

Exercise: 10km easy jog

Water: 3litres

Sleep: 9 hrs. 

Feelings: Optional

Day 22:

Breakfast: 8 bananas

Lunch: 6 apples and 15 dates

Dinner: large greens and veggie salad

Water: 4 liters

Sleep: 6 hours

 

Day 23:

Breakfast: 14 banana smoothie --> 1400 cals (was weird not having juice but wanted more cals this morning)

Lunch: 4kg of oranges --> 1000

Dinner: Date and cucumber sliders with dill --> 700 cals (just couldn't get enough, hill rep hunger has kicked in).

Total around 3100 cals

Water: 3ltrs

Exercise: 50mins easy jog this morning. OoOoOH my calves were crying today from those hill reps but I embrace that soreness as I've worked hard for it. Just like when I do weights and the next day I'm tender, it's a pain that is pleasurable.

Sleep: 9.5hrs

Feelings:  I love leading a life of leisure, no alarms, no boss. It's not luck, I created my life this way and I'm proud for turning my life around. For years I was working in jobs that didn't turn me on and now I no longer work but play everyday.

 

DAY 20 (wtf you're all on day 22 and I'm on day 20? Well actually I'm on day 21 but I always write everything on the next day)

Bfast: 15 dates / 1 banana / coco milk smoothie

Snack: 4 peaches

Lunch: cabbage salad + blended tomatoes +mini-bananas (very expensive but... yummy) + figs

Dinner: Salad + smoothie

Water: 2L

exercise: abs exercices + 15 mn jog

Sleep: 7h

Day 23

Sleep: 11 hours :)

Breakfast:

15 Dates

Riding Snacks:

4 small Apples

[309 cal]

Organic Sultanas

Lunch:

6 Kiwi Fruit

Afternoon Tea:

16 fl. oz Orange Juice

[223 cal]

Dinner: Salad

Lettuce, Cherry Tomatos, Celery, Almonds, Capsicum

Water: 5L

Exercise:

~1.5 hour Bike ride + 30 minute hike.

Total Cal: 2206. Yes I underate today. I might still have a desert before I go to bed.

Macro: | 88 carb | 5 protein | 7 fat |

Feelings:

Picked up some Leeches in the bush today. Damn parasites love my blood.

Day 23 : 17th of july
Bfast : 2L Orange juices + 1 Melon
Lunch : 1,2kilo figs + 5 bananas
Dinner : 700g apricot + 1/2 Melon
total calories (cronometer) : 2800

Water : 3L

Exercice : None

Sleep : 9h

Feelings : Had some cravings today, my periods are coming tomorrow! i ate more and it was fine!

Day 23 (Tuesday, 17th July)

Food - 8 bananas, 2 cucumbers, 4 tomatoes, 1 apple, 1 orange, 2 carrots, 1.5 pepper, 1 cup blueberries, 1kg strawberries, 1 melon, 1 cup plums, 50g cashew nuts, 15 apricots

I've had too many nuts I'm afraid.

2453 calories, 81/12/7

Exercise - walking for 2 hours wearing the Little One

Water - 3 litres

Sleep - rough night again last night. I'm completely sleep-deprived!

Day 23:

Breakfast: 2 Tropical Smoothies (771 cal)

Lunch: Salad (mixed greens) w/ Pico de Gallo, Apricot-Banana Smoothie (422 cal)

Dinner: 1/2 a Cantaloupe, Green Smoothie (528 cal)

Snacks: 4 Bananas (420 cal)

Water: 3 liters

Exercise: 20 min. pilates, 75 min. walking

Sleep: 8 hrs.

Feelings: Fantastic

Day 23 - July 17 Tuesday

B - 2 dates blended w 1 c peaches & 1 c raspberries and poured over: a cup of peaches, 5 gold kiwi, 1 C. mangoes & 2 C. Blueberries

After run - 1.3 cups of coconut water

L - Large salad of Romaine lettuce with lots of cukes and toms & Mangoes.  Dressing of 1 C. mangoes w/ 2 dates and chives, basil and sage and 1 tbsp tahini

S - 5 C. Peaches, 4 gold kiwi, 5 dates

Calories 2344 - 86/6/8
Exercise - 4 1/4 miles run
Water - 3 quarts

Sleep - Didn't sleep good at all. So I am a bit tired again today.
Feelings - overall for the garbage sleep I've had of late - I feel fine just more tired. 

Day 23

Breakfast: banana smoothie, 900 cal

Lunch: banana smoothie, 900 cal

Snack: banana smoothie, 900 cal

Total calories:  2700

Water: 4 ltrs

Exercise: 1 hour walk

Sleep: 8 hours

DAY 23 !

Bfast: 1 banana + 2 cups of grapefruit juice + 1/2 cup of blueberries

Lunch: 1 banana + 1 peach + 2 cups of cantaloupe melon + 1 big tomato + 1 medium cucumber + 3 cups of green leaves + half a hand full of walnuts + 1 red bellpepper + 1 tbs of tahini

Snack: 1 banana

Dinner: 1 banana + 1 cup of blueberries + 2 peaches + a few sliced almonds + 1 cup of strawberries + 5 cups of green leaves + 2 big tomatoes + 1 medium cucumber + 1 cup of grated carrots + 1 medium zucchini + 3 cups of spinach + 1 small red bellpepper
Calories: 1819

Water: 3 litres ! Yay !

Exercice: none today

Sleep: 7 hours, again...

Feelings: I felt so sleepy all day today ! But I'm doing okay, and I'm happy. I'll be feeling better tomorrow though, because I'm going to sleep in a few minutes. And it's not as late as the past few days.

Day 23

Up at about 4:30 a.m. so about 4 hours sleep.  Drank as much water as I could, then had some of the rest of the melon juice.

 

Went running with the puppy once it got light.  Just didn't want to stop, so went 1 1/2 miles.  Then a quick swim, then rollerblading with my daughter.  Gorgeous warm morning.  Still really hot at after eleven p.m.

 

Ate about 10 or more fresh figs.  The produce manager hade me a tray with all ripe figs.  So good.

 

Had another swim.

 

Afternoon, drank about a quart of oj.

Late Afternoon at at least 6 large apricots.

 

Dinner: spinach, Robbie's basil and tomatoes and cucumber, avocado.  Am having to push it down.  Not hungry qat all.

 

I love doing this with everyone.  Thank You Freelee.  Very happy.

DAY 21 (I think I forget to write on friday: I will do one day more)

Bfast: dates/bananas smoothie

Snack: Grapes

Lunch: gazpacho + cabbage salad+grapes

Diner: Big salad with olives

water: 2 L

Exercise: 30mn walk (I didn't have much time :( )

Sleep: 7h

Feelings: Happy: I think I almost converted a friend to 811 today!! He was very impressed and interested!

I think I'm going to do "bananas-dates island" for the end of the challenge :) I will start tomorrow because I have lettuce and a mango at home and I don't want to waste them! But I brought a big datorade at my office for my lunch today
