Time to get your raw on folks! For the next 30 days, EACH DAY please come here and record what you eat, your exercise, water and sleep and encourage others to stay on track. This challenge is only for HIGH CARB raw vegans, 811-style. No superfoods or powders, salt thanks. Example is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtxFC4LHnKo

* If you fall off the wagon please don't post about it here because it can negatively affect others on the challenge. Posts like that may be removed to help keep the high vibe. 
* You must be 100% raw and post here EVERY DAY for the next 30 days to receive the free ebook. You *must* use the same thread day after day so I can read your journal. Journals that are all over the place cannot be accepted.

DAY 1:

Bfast: 10 banana smoothie
Lunch: 1 head of iceberg lettuce with 20 dates
Dinner: 1/2 jakfruit (med) and a kg of snow peas
(good to include calories)

Exercise: 10km easy jog

Water: 3litres

Sleep: 9 hrs. 

Feelings: Optional

Day 4:

Breakfast: 7 bananas

Snack: 16 dates

Lunch: 8 bananas

Exercise: 30 minute jog

Snack: Green smoothie

Dinner: Huge salad

Water: 3 liters

Sleep: 7 hours

 

Day 4: 
      Before breakfast: 16oz OJ
      B: 5 oranges
      L: 10 banana, 4 dates, 2 cup dandelion greens smoothie
      D: 3-4 cups of grapes
      H2O: 96oz
      Cals: 2198
      Exercise: none, but did work for 8 hrs, on feet moving around 
      Feelings: good day yesterday, energy levels stayed high throughout the day which I love because usually so round three I start to crash. Is it just me or does this seem too easy now? Why didn't I do this 100% before? Hope everyone has a fruit filled day!

DAY 5:

Breakfast: ate 15 apples
Lunch: ate 8 apples
Dinner: ate 8 apples with pinch of cinnamon


Exercise: 60mins stretching and punching

Water: 3 litres

Sleep: 9 hrs.

DAY 4 (28/06)

Bfast: mashed plums and apples + 3 delicious ripe bananas

Lunch: Salad + grapes

Dinner: Salad + 4 bananas

Water: 1,5L

Sleep: 6 hours

Exercise: 30 mn "body-mind" exercises

You seem to be doing fine! What is 'body-mind' exercise?

I didn't know migraines could be a sign of not eating enough greens. Very interesting!

Day 5:

Breakfast: Tropical Smoothie (strawberry, banana, mango, pineapple, etc.), half a cantaloupe (532 cal)

Lunch: Salad w/ mixed greens, strawberries, grapes, & walnuts topped w/ tangy scallion dressing (not sure how many cals yet)

Dinner: probably another B.A.D. Strudel (741 cal)

Snacks: 1 cup of Creamy Corn Chowder (160 cal), bananas (?)

Water: 3 liters

Exercise: 30 min. yoga, 30 min. walking

Sleep: 6 hrs.

Feelings: I'm going to pick up another book at the library today-this one's called "Becoming Raw" and I'm pretty excited about it. I've become absolutely intrigued and have been seeking all kinds of info on this lifestyle. There are SO many raw vegan recipes I want to try!

I'm just like you, Amber M. Gligor - I want to know everything about this lifestyle and I want to make a lot of recipes! Have fun experimenting and please let us know about the outcomes!

Day 5

I left Banana Island to go shopping today, so no specific mealtimes. I took some Bananas with me. Just ate what I could, when I could.

Sleep: 10 hours

Bananas: 25

Apples: 4

Dates: 10

Strawberries: 3

Exercise:

A lot of casual walking,

bending and leaning into the car for long periods of time while changing kids nappies.

Water: 4L

Total Calories: 2793

Macro-Nutrient: | 94 Carbs | 3 Protein | 3 Fat |

Feelings:

I let myself get a little hungry at one point today.

Towards the end of the day I noticed just the slightest hint of under-carbed crankiness.

I may still have a snack before I go to bed.

Day 5

2 honeydew melons

2KG apples

8 Bananas

2KG strawberries

1 avocado

water: 4 l

exercise: 14km hike through woods

sleep: 7h

Day 5:  A bit gray here today in Oregon.  The last two days were sunny and pretty nice.

Breakfast:  5 Banana Smoothie w/2 Cups OJ & 1 Cup Water = 780 Cal

Lunch:  4 Banana Smoothie w/2 cups Pineapple & 1 Cup OJ = 700 Cal

Snack:  8 Dates = 530 Cal

Dinner:  6 Cups Green Salad w/Shredded Raw Zucchini, 10 Olives & 1/3 Avocado = 200 Cal

Total Cals:  2210

Water:  2 L

Exercise:  Walking with Kids, Sister & New Baby

Sleep:  9 hours

Feeling:  Much better today.  Spent all yesterday afternoon with my best friend and talked about her breast cancer, treatments to come and lots of other more pleasant stuff.  Sat by the fire in the evening.  Very nice.

Hey Danae --- not sure how you felt yesterday, but one thing I notice is that some of the fruit you are eating together don't combine well. Which may lead to tummy aches/gas/strange poops. LOL. For example bananas and oranges aren't great together. Acid fruits should be combined with other acid fruits or semi acid fruits, but not sweet fruits (bananas). Sweet fruits can combine with other sweet fruits or semi acid fruits. Melons should be eaten alone. If you google food combining you should be able to find a nice schematic...Freelee has a good one in her ebook! Good luck!
