30 Bananas a Day!

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with 80/10/10 clearing up their acne and improving skin tone? I have suffered with facial activity since I was a young teen and it has never improved. I have a very oily complexion that bears alot of acne scars and smaller pimples. I do truly believe that 80/10/10 can clear up my skin and improve it and I know that a month and a half isn't enough time to expect phenomenal results(which there haven't been any yet). Anywho, I was just hoping to hear about others' experiences with acne/skin problems and 80/10/10.

I try not to. The only overt fat I have been eating recently is coconut meat from young thai coconuts...about 3-4 times a week. I have not eaten nuts and don't plan to...the last avacado I had must been at least 3-4 weeks ago.

I figured I wouldn't see much improvement for awhile since I would be detoxing junk through my skin...I'm trying to be patient, but my skin quality has always been my biggest gripe about my body.

Increasing my greens would probably be a good thing. Currently, I only have one green smoothie a day with about 2-3 large handfuls of organic baby spinach. My favorite is 6 ripe bananas with 2 handfuls of baby spinach...yum yummm! I have noticed that when I drink one, I have a very good feeling wash over me and I am trying to work on listening to my body...so maybe I should put two and two together ;)
I have definitely seen improvement in my skin and any pimples and I have been on a higher fat raw food diet for 27 days. But today is my first day of true 80/10/10 and I can just tell that my skin will get even better. Hang in there. You might be dealing with detox and I have read on other boards that sometimes people have their acne get worse better it gets better and clears up. You are doing the right thing though and you are on your way! Don't give up.

Unfortunately neither are in season here in New Hampshire. It's snowing right now :( :(

Thanks for the suggestions though! I love cukes and the best ones I have ever had were from a farm stand down the street from my school! Yum!
In addition to diet, try not to put drying soaps and stuff on your skin. Do you use any products on your face?
just coconut oil. Yesterday I decided to stop using that also, just to let my skin be as natural as possible.
Well, I had acne a little bit but not too bad all of my life. I have been dry brushing which I think really helps alot and makes the skin on the face nice and tight and just so smooth too. I believe at least for myself anyway, that it is not just eating the right foods but doing other things to get the toxins out of our body.

What is dry rubbing? I have some acne, as well and it has cleared up quite a bit with the raw foods. But, it's not 100% better.

I'm also feeling the improvement just reducing the fats! There's still some but I don't worry, it just needs some time and persistence :)

As I found out I was a liiitle bit Zn deficient and read some of the symptoms acne was one of them. I believe increasing the greens really helps, too :)
