30 Bananas a Day!


I was reading Freelees advice on this and i think i want to start aswell. Have anyone tried this and notice a difference from 1 liter to 2 liters?

I struggle with massive stomach pain on cetrain meals wich indicates that im dehydrated. So i have to drink water in the middle of the meal to make the pain go away. I drink around 4 liters a day but i guess i need to drink more. So one thing i guess i to start the 2 liters upon waking up. Also how fast can you drink those 2 liters? i dont want to spend forever on them either, i want to start the day with my training :D

Don't drink so fast that you drown yourself. It'll take some time to rehydrate yourself fully, but adding more water will probably speeden it up a bit.
I read somewhere that the body can only deal with 1 liter per hour. Maybe this info is wrong, and i have no reference (maybe someone who is gonna read that has). So maybe this means 1 liter slowly upon rising, and another during the first or second hour of training?
yeah ive heard that aswell. But i know Freelee recommends 2 liters upon waking so maybe she can comment more on that

I also had issues with digestion and pain and took up harouts ways of drinking 2 lt in the morn or if not i drink 1.5 and found myself feeling alot better then when i was drinking 1lt. Id say take your time drinking it, but for me i normally down it in about 25 minutes. Try out 1.5 if your worried about drinking to much and if you see a difference then take it from there :)

I would be cautious of aiming to drink much more than 1-1.5 litres water in one go. Drinking massive quantities in one go doesnt mean your cells will get hydrated. Your body literally cannot use all that water in one go, so instead you will just create more work for your kidneys to eliminate it safely.


There is a risk of hyponatremia by drinking too much water in a short space of time. A woman in the UK died a few years ago drinking 4 litres of water in the space of 2 hours.


If you have stomach pain at certain meals, that does NOT mean you are dehydrated. It could mean a number of things and hydration would be the last thing I would consider on that list. The main things I would be focusing on would be food and digestion related.

i eat mono meals and when i drink water it goes away
I havent had this before. It just came up the last 3-4 days. I have been eating the same stuff since then. I dont feel it if i eat/drink banana smoothie or datorade. But if i eat say 6 bananas i start to get it
I also benefit from drinking before bed and during the night for this problem. Slightly annoying but a lot less painful

it just came up the last 3-4 days. And ive been eating the same way the last days.

The pain is just in center of my stomach like something is stuck. It can travel almost up to the middle of my chest also when it really hurts.
