I was laughing at #8, because I just had a conversation with a friend of mine who spends all her money on brand name clothes, still has money to get that $5 Frappuccino from 'Starjucks' every day and complains that a fruity diet would bust her budget... *smh

I was thinking about the cost of this regime recently and I started to list all the things I do not spend money on:
coffee, tea, bread, butter, milk, breakfast cereal (hello five dollar box of Corn Pops), cheese, eggs, meat, fish, ice cream, pasta, sauces, cake, cookies, crackers, condiments, wine, beer, candy.........etc, etc, etc. By not buying any of these, I can buy fruit.
Additionally, with the corn crop failure in the U.S., a lot of processed food (what doesn't contain corn additives?) and meat (animal corn feed) is going to skyrocket this year. People will have to find alternatives. Let's hope they find the right alternatives.
