Thanks Laura, so happy you enjoyed it!

@Sara, well it's not about gorging, its about eating 'enough' for your needs along with healthy exercise, positive thoughts, visualizations etc. Weight gain is certainly not common in these conditions. Generally yes, you will lose weight. Your background does factor in to the equation as well so it is hard to comment further. The book really explains all the nitty gritty of bringing your body back into balance.

This book is AMAZING! I need a paper copy of it. I want to loan it out to everyone I meet. Or at least the health conscious ones. My mom needs to read it.

Hi Alison

A friend introduced me to your book and I just loved it. I finished my first read through yesterday but will read it again as there is so much great info to absorb. While I'm not all raw at this time I'm leaning in more and more and since starting the book have been pumping up my fruit consumption far past anything I ever dreamed possible and feeling better every day for it.

I have a long way to go yet but thank you for getting the info out there.

Just read Alison's book and really loved it. Can recommend it strongly, especially for people with a history of caloric restriction and fear of fruit. Good research, nice case studies and in general a good read.

Hi Penne!  There wasn't a piece cut off in the book, that part just wasn't elaborated on.  Freelee, as well as myself and many others, take B12 supplements because there can be SO many reasons why your B12 can be low.  Sure, frozen fruit can be one of them, but it is generally the safer thing to just supplement as things in your history such as eating disorders, illnesses, anaesthetic, can all destroy your bodies intrinsic factor.  And b12 injections won't harm you, it's the one supplement that you can safely take, so it just makes more sense to me to take a supplement and then you have peace of mind and don't need to get your levels checked all the time.

Lovin' Alison's book so far!  One important question: Freelee, you mention taking a B12 supplement but the second part of the question (and Why) isn't showing up in the book.  Did it get cut off?  I don't remember reading this in your own book, and was surprised to see Alison recommend freezing bananas in the Notes supplement when Dr. D specifically says that this was a factor in his B12-deficiency.  Perhaps she is not familiar with his experience?  Otherwise, I'm impressed with Alison's research so far (I'm only on p. 53, but that intro along with your story, Freelee, definitely had the WOW factor going on.) Cheers ~

Hi Kari,  the download link is automatically sent to you via email as well as appearing on the screen.  So it is a pretty foolproof system, in case your computer crashes or something, there'll be a download link in your inbox as well.  All the best!  Alison
